Here there are no red leaves on the Virginia Creeper at the moment.

now a web of bare branches
against the wall
here and there nests
exposed until the new growth

Thanks for going to all that trouble...I never realized before how closely the leaves resemble each other!
And just for you, I added one of my virginia creeper photos to my blog...color untouched, lol!
(I know the leaves can get quite red...but I think our soil is lacking in something...)
