There are tree rats in plenty around here, but I haven't managed to get as nice a photo as this one. The 'ground squirrels' are far too shy for photos.

My father used to wage war on the squirrel. But now I'm happy to say that he welcomes him alongside the birds on the numerous food stations and seed hangers around the garden.
I welcome him here too!
