J.R.R. Tolkien said something vaguely along the lines of this : the Welsh language has a lot of words and phrases that are beautiful in themselves, in the way that few are in English. Exceptions being odd phrases like 'cellar door'. (Say it to yourself a few times, forgetting the meaning... )
