I like the chalking of the stanza on the floor.
Birds singing, twitering, nesting and on - all real indicators of spring and so kigo - seasonal references - here you swop it around - instead of giving us the kigo and us finding spring you give us 'birds declare spring' and we find the singing!
Enjoy the birds and even more so enjoy the childrens' playing.
